Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Archaeological Field Technicians to join our team. This role involves participating in Stage 3 and 4 fieldwork, for a mix of remote and urban projects in Northwestern Ontario. Field technicians will possess a passion for archaeology and experience working physical outdoor labour. We intend to fill existing vacancies for the ongoing 2026 field season.

Duties
- Participate in Stage 3 and 4 excavations.
- Collect and record data in the field according to specified methodologies.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently as required.
- Follow direction in terms of equipment care and ensure compliance with safety protocols during fieldwork.
- Furthermore, working 5+ days a week, weather permitting.
Qualifications
- Previous archaeological field experience is not required.
- However, possess excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
- Additionally, must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with fieldwork.
- Likewise, familiarity and comfort with wilderness environments are considered an asset.
