Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused AZ Truck Driver to join our forestry operations team. In this essential role, the AZ Truck Driver holds responsibility for safely and efficiently transporting logs, chips or hog fuel from the logging operation to the mill. Moreover, as an AZ Truck Driver, you ensure that materials arrive in good condition and on time while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position plays a critical role in supporting our forestry operations and supply chain. Pay: CA$33.00-CA$34.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Firstly, operate tractor and trailer in a safe and timely manner.
- Haul round wood, chips or hog fuel from logging operation to mill sites.
- In addition, communicate via two-way radio to ensure safe travel.
- Cleaning and lubricating vehicle when needed.
- Conducting pre-operational checks on equipment
- Participating in all safety programs, training or meetings.
- Perform daily inspections on assigned vehicle and trailer.
- Similarly, maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform minor maintenance when required.
- Perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Finally, report any maintenance concerns to Supervision.
Qualifications:
- AZ License is required.
- Experience in a Forestry setting.
- Furthermore, experience driving on logging roads would be considered an asset.

- A positive and proactive attitude towards safety
- High school diploma and/or post-secondary degree considered an asset
- Reliable and punctual
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
