Your Dollar Store With More is looking for an organized, motivated Store Supervisor to help lead our Sioux Lookout team. If you enjoy variety, such as coaching staff, managing inventory, keeping the sales floor sharp, and being the person who keeps the day running smoothly, then this role puts your work front and centre, every shift.

Job Duties to Expect as Our Supervisor:

  • Open and close the store, including alarm checks, lighting, and final security walkthroughs
  • Lead and direct staff during shifts, coordinating daily priorities and keeping management in the loop
  • Train new employees on procedures, customer service, and day-to-day tasks
  • Also, partner with fellow supervisors and clerks to keep operations running smoothly
  • Stock, face, and line products so the sales floor always looks its best
  • Set up seasonal displays, promotions, and planogram changes
  • Handle price checks, label printing, and shelf tag updates
  • In addition, help customers find what they need and resolve issues with a smile
  • Operate cash registers, self-checkout, and POS systems
  • Run till counts, lottery balancing, and cash handling procedures
  • Similarly, prepare bank deposits and daily sales/balancing reports
  • Support ATM reports and basic reconciliation tasks
  • Place product orders and manage stock levels for your departments
  • Receive deliveries, unload pallets, and keep the back room organized and safe
  • Lastly, enter invoices, POs, and product data into store systems and spreadsheets, with some QuickBooks support

You’ll also play a part in keeping the store safe and clean — flagging hazards, pitching in on general housekeeping, and following safe lifting practices.

What You Bring
  • Firstly, a high school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary in business or retail is a bonus)
  • 1–2 years of retail experience, with a strong customer service mindset
  • Comfort working as part of a team, with solid organizational and time management skills
  • Equally important, basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory tasks
  • Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Finally, French language skills are an asset, not a requirement
