Job Summary

Marten Falls First Nation Education is inviting applications for a Temporary Cook / Student Nutrition Worker to provide coverage while the permanent employee is on a temporary leave. As the Student Nutrition Worker, you support the Henry Coaster Memorial School‘s student nutrition program. Moreover, you contribute to student health and well-being.

Job Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

• Firstly, prepare and serve meals and snacks for students.
• Support the daily operations of the student nutrition program.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with inventory and basic kitchen organization.
• Work respectfully with students, staff, and community members.

Hours and Compensation:

Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour

Available Work Options:

• Full-Time: 8 hours per day
• Alternatively, Part-Time: 5 hours per day

Qualifications:

• Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate (required)
• In addition, you bring kitchen experience cooking for large groups (required)
• Furthermore, you demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Additionally, you remain reliable, dependable, and punctual

Preference

Marten Falls First Nation Band Members will receive preference, provided they meet the qualifications and requirements of the position.
