Job Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Rapid Access to Addiction Medications (RAAM clinic). This will include reception duties, client registration, appointment bookings, and administrative functions to support efficient clinic operations.
Rate of Pay: $26.25 – $29.56
Reference # 2025-13
Start Date: As soon as possible
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Office Administration diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- 3 years of experience working in an ambulatory clinic considered an asset.
- Work experience in the field of substance use and mental health is an asset.
- Experience with electronic systems, such as an Electronic Medical Record.
- Strong MS Office application skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work well under pressure and use good judgment in assessing difficult situations.
- Ability to produce high-quality work in accordance with organization standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health care, organizational office practices, procedure and standards.
- Ability to work effectively in an interprofessional team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle multiple duties.
- Proven ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Exhibits professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the organization.
- Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
