Job Position Overview:
Under the general supervision of the Atikokan Community Counselling Manager, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks ensuring the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the office.

Start/End Date: October 2025 – November 2026
This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave, and will conclude upon the return of the incumbent.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven education and/or experience as an administrative assistant
- General understanding of mental illness and addictions
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Ability to respond to crisis situations
- Additionally, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination
