Wilderness Air Ltd. is seeking a Transport Canada licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1 for our maintenance facility in Nestor Falls, Ontario, Canada. This is a full-time year-round position maintaining Piston & Turbine engine float planes.
If you:
- have extensive experience maintaining Piston & Turbine engine float planes specifically DHC-2, DHC-3, Cessna 185, Beech 18 and Piper
- a minimum of 5 years of signing aircraft back into service after inspections & maintenance
- prefer rural living in a small community
Then this may be the perfect position for you.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Carry out maintenance on company aircraft consistent with standards of airworthiness and the requirements of the company Maintenance Control Manual.
- Safely carry out scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance in a team environment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues in accordance with approved procedures and manuals.
- The ability to work independently or as a team.
- Hours of work are Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:30 pm.
- Competitive wage based on experience.
