Job purpose
As a Customer Experience Representative at Sarjeant Propane, your primary objective is to ensure our clients receive unparalleled support and assistance throughout their journey with our product and services. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction, driving retention, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
Duties and responsibilities
- Answer telephone, screen and direct calls, take and relay any messages.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information and product education to callers.
- Receive payments over the phone from customers.
- Greet and assist customers and visitors coming into the office.
- Manage & respond to general inquiry email inbox.
- Enter propane orders and calls for service.
- Liaison with other departments (delivery, service, sales & credit).
- Escalate critical situations (emergency calls / leaks).
- Provide one-call resolution & exceptional customer service to customers.
Compensation
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Salary of $47,840 per year.
- Eligible for paid vacation time.
- Eligible for Group Benefits plan after 90 days and Group RRSP plan after one year of service.
Working schedule
- The work schedule would consist of either 5 shifts per week at 8 hours per day or 4 shifts per week at 10 hours per day.
- Long hours may be required during the busy seasons of October-May in order to meet operational needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience within a professional office environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and is required.
- Ability to communicate in French, both written and oral, is preferred.
- High school diploma required; Business Diploma preferred.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organization skills.
- Also, ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Must be a quick learner who is self-motivated.
- Finally, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
