Job Location: Atikokan
Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Lead Hand and responsible to the Environmental Services Manager, the Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in providing meal preparation and delivery. In this essential position, you ensure all services align with regulations as specified by the Long-Term Care Homes Act and related acts. Moreover, you contribute directly to the health, well-being, and satisfaction of residents by delivering nutritious meals with care and attention to detail.

Rate of Pay: $24.61-$24.96/hour

Key Responsibilities:

As a Dietary Aide, you will perform a variety of essential duties. First and foremost, you prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements. In addition, you deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner. Furthermore, you maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas. You also monitor food temperatures and quality to ensure resident safety. Similarly, you assist with inventory management and stock rotation. Additionally, you follow all infection control protocols and food safety guidelines. You work collaboratively with the dietary team to provide exceptional service.
