Primary Function:
Reporting directly to the Owner/ Lead Consultant, the Marketing & Communications Specialist will lead the brand development strategy that reflects the company’s vision across multiple platforms. In addition, the role provides marketing and communications support to both internal staff and clients. Moreover, the Specialist ensures consistent, creative, and effective communication that aligns with staff and client marketing needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing and Strategic Planning
- Lead impactful marketing campaigns and strategies that target and attract prospective clients.
- Develop and report on key metrics for marketing, communications and business development.
- Leverage data, client feedback, and market research to refine and anticipate opportunities.
- Identify and coordinate participation inkey promotional events and community initiatives.
Digital Marketing and Graphic Design
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing and content strategies across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Indeed and Instagram, etc.
- Maintain and update the company website regularly.
- Create, implement, and manage a complete social media plan. In addition, track performance to ensure consistent growth and engagement.
- Design creative digital and print materials, including billboards, presentations, advertisements, brochures, and social media posts. Moreover, ensure all materials align with brand standards.
- Apply SEO best practices to maximize web search engine results. Furthermore, evaluate analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize AI and progressive technologies to advance and create efficiencies in all business aspects.
- Also provide marketing and communication support to clients as needed.
- Support recruitment and training initiatives as well as special marketing projects.
Communications
- Develop creative and engaging communications materials that reflect the brand’s voice.
- Develop, implement maintain a company branding philosophy and standards.
- Facilitate communication for campaigns to key stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Create promotional material to be used at public events such as conferences and job fairs.
Business Development
- Identify and target new business opportunities.
- Create targeted communication strategies for identified prospective clients and sectors.
- Generate leads and make initial contact with prospective clients through trade shows, visits, calls and emails.
- Develop and maintain email marketing lists for campaigns.
Perform other related duties and contributes to special projects as needed to support the organization’s overall goals.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Business Development.
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, engagement, and analytics. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar). Moreover, familiarity with video editing software is an asset.
- Able to create and design interesting and engaging content while utilizing all platform features (Reels, Stories, Shorts, Carousels, Polls, etc.). Furthermore, content must align with brand identity and messaging.
- Strong working knowledge of social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Also, understanding emerging trends across platforms is valuable.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative under minimal supervision.
- Strategic and creative thinker who can translate ideas into results.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Strong planning skills and highly organized approach to tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. In addition, the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences is key.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to use a personal vehicle.
