Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for greeting customers and creating a friendly shopping experience.
• Answering customer questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions, and providing product information.
• Selling merchandise and operating cash registers for finalizing financial transactions (cash, credit, debit).
• Organize and ensure the selling floor and is stocked with merchandise.
• Assist in the display of merchandise.
• Organize the stock areas when required.
• Learn about new and current trends and relay information to the customers
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of all store promotional events and sales.
• May assist in visual merchandising and product rotation Trend Awareness
• Lastly, perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience or similar experience in inside sales would be considered an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
• Additionally, ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
• Energetic – must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Reliable and dependable – consistent attendance at work is imperative.
