Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for greeting customers and creating a friendly shopping experience.
- Answering customer questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions, and providing product information.
- Selling merchandise and operating cash registers for finalizing financial transactions (cash, credit, debit).
- Organize and ensure the selling floor and is stocked with merchandise.
- Assist in the display of merchandise.
- Organize the stock areas when required.
- Learn about new and current trends and relay information to the customers
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of all store promotional events and sales.
- May assist in visual merchandising and product rotation Trend Awareness
- Lastly, perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience or similar experience in inside sales would be considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
- Additionally, ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
- Energetic – must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Reliable and dependable – consistent attendance at work is imperative.
