Work Location: Thunder Bay, ON/ In office with some hybrid work flexibility available after 6 months.
Salary: Commensurate based on experience, competitive package
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 9 am to 5 pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and service support to Commercial Account Managers and Brokers.
- Compile, proofread, and process insurance applications, endorsements, renewals, and related documentation.
- Prepare client proposals, renewal packages, invoices, and premium finance agreements with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and update client records within the Broker Management System (BMS) and insurer portals.
- Triage and coordinate client and broker service requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Manage payment processing, including addressing payment issues and client notifications.
- Schedule and organize meetings as well as coordinate resources as needed.
- Uphold both company procedures and regulatory standards in all administrative functions.
- Actively participate in training initiatives to progress toward licensing and expanded responsibilities.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience in a business, finance, or professional services environment.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with CRM systems or Broker Management Systems is considered an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A commitment to pursuing an insurance broker license within the first year of employment.
- Previous insurance experience is an asset but not required — training and support will be provided.
