Under the general supervision and direction of the Environmental Services Manager, the Network Technician will provide user support for problem determination and resolution, assist in hardware and software installations and specific project implementations as directed by the Environmental Services Manager. The Network Technician also works closely with the various information systems consultants to AHCS.

Rate of Pay: $34.43 – $42.32

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Have a minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience, network administration, IT technical support, software programming or other computer operations
- Cybersecurity experience, as well as certificates in CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+, CCNA, etc. would be an asset.
- Advanced working experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
- Basic knowledge of Local Area Network technologies and computer hardware
- Excellent research, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experienced in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server, Exchange), Databases MS-SQL and SharePoint, networking infrastructure, security, and protocols, server virtualization: Hyper-V, VMWare, Scale, software and network tools, helpdesk support and management, ITIL
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work in a team or independently
- Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
