Job Summary
Under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager and under general supervision of the Dietary Lead Hand, the Cook prepares and delivers meals in a manner consistent with all regulations. Specifically, the Cook must comply with requirements as specified by the Long-Term Care Homes Act and related acts.
Rate of Pay: $28.69-$29.23/hour

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- First, successful completion of Food Service Worker program as mandated by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
- In addition, completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Moreover, three years of experience in institutional food service, including experience in large quantity food preparation and cooking
- Furthermore, completion of Certified Food Handling course through local Public Health Unit.
- Finally, ability to lift 21 kg or 50 lbs
