Position Summary:
The IT Coordinator will oversee and manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and ERP systems, with a primary focus on supporting and optimizing our ERP system. The ideal candidate will ensure that our IT systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with the business goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Acumatica ERP Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Acumatica ERP system, supporting its day-to- day operations and troubleshooting issues.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of Acumatica ERP with other business functions, including accounting, project management, and inventory control.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure that Acumatica is running efficiently and effectively.
- Train and support end-users to maximize their use of the ERP system.
IT Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, both remotely and on-site.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including workstations, servers, and peripheral devices.
Network and Systems Administration:
- Maintain and monitor company-wide IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
- Ensure network connectivity, performance, and security for all employees and systems.
- Conduct regular backups, software updates, and system audits to maintain the integrity and security of data.
- Provide expertise in defining scope, development, modifying, testing, supporting, and documenting in software used by the company, including but not limited to Acumatica, software integrations, and the company website. Basic IT support may also be part of the daily activities, such as report writing, modification, and testing will also be incorporated. Staff training and the rollout of projects will be key responsibilities.
- Proficiency with C# language, including but not limited to the following language features: classes, OOP, custom attributes, generics, delegates, anonymous methods and lambda expressions.
- Knowledge of the main concepts of ASP.NET and Web Development: application state, debugging ASP.NET applications using Visual Studio, client and server-side development, Web Forms structure, and Web Services.
- Experience with SQL Server: SQL queries (where clause, aggregates, sub-queries), database structure (primary keys, data types, denormalization).
- Experience with IIS: configuration and deployment of ASP.NET websites, configuring and securing IIS.
Collaboration with Other Teams:
- Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, finance, and HR to understand IT needs and provide solutions that improve business processes.
- Assist with managing vendor relationships for IT equipment, software, and services, ensuring cost-effective and reliable solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT systems, configurations, licenses, and software inventories.
- Document technical procedures, workflows, and troubleshooting steps for end-user reference.
- Generate regular reports on IT system performance, security, and support requests for management review.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or College level diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in an IT support or coordinator role
- Experience working with Acumatica ERP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Windows Server, and network infrastructure.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and how they integrate with business operations.
- Proficiency in networking, hardware troubleshooting, and systems administration.
- Ability to manage IT projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to train and support non-technical users.
- Designations or certifications in A+, CAN, DbA or similar
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with occasional after-hours support requirements.
- Occasional travel to job sites or remote offices may be required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
