Job Description
Michieli Custom Concrete is seeking an experienced and dependable Concrete Finisher to join its growing construction team. The successful candidate will assist with placing and finishing concrete on a variety of custom concrete construction projects throughout Ontario.

As a Concrete Finisher, you will be involved in the concrete placement and finishing process. Your primary responsibilities will include raking, screeding, and finishing freshly placed concrete. You will work closely with other members of the construction crew to ensure concrete is properly placed, levelled, and finished according to the requirements of each project.
Therefore, this position is well suited to someone who is comfortable performing physical work, working outdoors, and contributing as part of a construction team. Overall, the successful candidate should be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to completing quality work.
Pay: CA$35.00-CA$50.00 per hour, plus benefits
Duties and Responsibilities
Concrete Finishers
- Firstly, assist with the placement of concrete.
- Rake and spread freshly placed concrete.
- Screed concrete to the required level and grade.
- Finish concrete surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Assist other crew members during concrete pours.
- Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow company, as well as construction-site safety procedures.
- Lastly, perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- We prefer candidates with previous concrete placing or finishing experience.
- Additionally, experience with screeding, raking, or finishing concrete is an asset.
- Likewise, ability to safely use concrete finishing tools.
- Equally important, ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Finally, strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
