Dallan LP is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team in Thunder Bay. Operators will work in industrial yard settings as well as be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Dallan LP is a partnership between Lac Des Mille Lac First Nation, Nigigoonsiminikaaning First Nation and Dale Levesque, a member of the Fort William First Nation. Additionally, Dallan LP is a 100% indigenous-owned business that provides industrial yard services which includes a variety of heavy equipment operations, maintenance and general labour. Further, Dallan LP currently has four separate contracts/ operations in Northwestern Ontario. Dallan LP is committed to the needs of its customers while ensuring the Health & Safety of all its employees.
Position Details:
POSITION – Heavy Equipment Operator
LOCATION – Thunder Bay
COMPENSATION – $28.86 – $33.90 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Firstly, log unloading and loading
- Lumber transfer operations
- Kiln loading
- Finished lumber loading
- Snow removal
- Lastly, general equipment operation duties.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous heavy equipment operating experience
- Ability to shift schedules (days, nights, weekends)
- Physically capable of working 40–48 hours per week
- Strong commitment to health and safety
